Metal stamped parts are metal components manufactured through cold stamping processes, in which molds are used to shape materials-such as carbon steel and aluminum alloy sheets-via applied pressure; the process encompasses operations such as blanking, bending, and deep drawing. These products are widely used in automotive component manufacturing; 60% to 70% of the metal parts in modern vehicles are formed through stamping, with a single vehicle containing between 1,200 and 1,500 stamped parts, including body panels, support components, structural reinforcements, and engine parts.

In 2022, the market size for metal stamped parts for passenger vehicles in my country was approximately RMB 234.071 billion, with a production volume of 38.78 billion units and a demand volume of 35.75 billion units; East China accounted for 32.61% of this total. The upstream segment of the industry chain involves the supply of raw materials such as aluminum and steel, while the midstream consists primarily of manufacturers such as Huada Technology and Ningbo Huaxiang. Aluminum production reached 62.216 million tons in 2022. Regarding the price of individual products, there is significant variation due to factors such as vehicle model, processing complexity, product type, and machining precision; prices range from just a few yuan per unit for simple, general-purpose parts to over several hundred yuan for large, precision structural components. The industry is dominated by private enterprises.
